Substance Abuse Counseling
Let’s Get Started
I am knowledgeable, trained, licensed, and certified by the state of Michigan to evaluate and diagnose a substance-use disorder. As a certified counselor, I will assess your situation.
In our assessment, I will gather information from you and, with your permission, your family and friends. My treatment assessment will take into consideration your current life status as well as your goals and expectations.
A complete evaluation requires honesty. Together we will determine your preferences, past treatment history, family history, medication history, belief systems, physical health status, employment, education history, and any legal situations you may be facing.
Once we complete an assessment, together we will develop a treatment and recovery plan that will help to identify behaviors that interfere with a successful recovery.
My goal is to get you back to your life as quickly as possible and to prevent any further negative behaviors from disrupting your life.
